Our Mission

~ Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul & healing to the bones. ~ ~Proverbs 16:24 ~

E3 Academy is a Christ-centered online school for homeschooling families around the globe. Our mission is to encourage students through their struggles, engage in positive discussion, and equip them for their future endeavors.

We desire new and veteran families to feel supported in their educational choices, and we offer academic support to facilitate a stress free home education environment.  As a Christian school we feel it is imperative to support all families, regardless of religious affiliation.

Meet the Founder

Mrs. Diana Kluwin

As a veteran homeschooling parent of 13 years, I know the difficulties of facilitating a well rounded education, instilling a love of learning for my children, and ensuring that my record keeping skills provide a detailed explanation of my commitment and competency of my children's academic accomplishments. In today's culture, parents are left with fewer educational choices than in years past. I know the struggles of transitioning from a public school institution to an independent home educational environment all too well. Public and Home education are polar opposites, and it can be difficult for families to navigate these diverse situations. E3 Academy was founded for the sole purpose of encouraging families through their struggles, engaging in conversation to understand each family's wants and needs, and equipping them with the tools needed to provide the best education for their children. Parent's are the ultimate authority in their child's education and they have the right to choose what is best. E3 Academy is here to support and mentor every family that needs our services. Regardless of your family's needs, we want to partner with you! We desire families to embrace the freedoms homeschooling can offer, whether that be online courses, counseling, record keeping, and more.

This Month's Curriculum Spotlight

Institute for Excellence in Writing

IEW's unique approach provides the structure that students need to develop confidence in the writing process, while gradually guiding them toward greater independence and creativity. They will learn nine structural models (note taking, writing paragraphs, stories, simple reports, writing from pictures, research reports, creative writing, essays, and critiques) to help them organize any type of composition. Additionally, stylistic techniques (strong verbs, quality adjectives, sentence openers, and more) are taught incrementally to gently move students from the basics into more sophisticated writing. In order to succeed in every area of life, your students must hone the skills needed to communicate confidently and effectively. Through the process of learning to write well, they learn how to think clearly and express themselves eloquently and persuasively. Using the four language arts—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—IEW methods have been proven to be effective for students of all ages and levels of ability, including those who are gifted, have special needs, or are English language learners. .

About Our Courses

ENCOURAGE * ENGAGE * EQUIP

  • Live Online Courses

Students meet once a week with a live instructor and fellow classmates. Much like a traditional classroom, students have the opportunity to engage in social conversation, participate in classroom discussion, and gain encouragement from their instructor and peers. E3 Classrooms allow students to see their classmates and instructor, we do not rely on chat boxes for communication.

  • Self-Directed Courses

Our Self-Directed Courses allow students to move through the curriculum at their leisure. Students will have the opportunity to see their instructor as he/she guides them through each lesson. Instructors ask questions as if they were "live" and offer time for students to think and respond. Although there is no interaction with the instructor, this option benefits families who desire more freedom in their schedule.

The Heart of a Good Education

This is the heart of a good education: a small but well-chosen library, a place to sit and study, some friends to do it with, and the time and tranquility to do it in.

What E3 Students & Parents Say About Our English Courses

“Diana's love of writing and desire to see children succeed is overwhelmingly evident in how she conducts the class. IEW is used as a conduit for her passion for literature, Jesus and homeschooling. She truly has come along side us, always pointing our daughter back to Jesus and the parents for guidance. I remember hearing her philosophy on writing and teaching homeschoolers... I almost gave her a standing ovation. Wait. Nope, I did give her a stranding ovation. Definite fan girl status! She has taken our reluctant, discouraged writer and given her confidence and poise with a pencil. A few times this semester, our son has begged me to sit in on the class. I can't wait for him to be one of Mrs. Kluwin's students.”

Academy Parents

Molly & Nate

“Mrs. Kluwin was extremely patient with my girls, as well as with my husband and I as we navigated through this new world of homeschooling. Her instructions were very clear and she even counseled me on how best to help my children do the homework for their class. She is very organized by providing notes and videos from the class, an online classroom for submission of work and interaction with her and the other students, and a syllabus by which we can follow along. My children enjoyed her class and the learning environment she created. They were able to have fun while not only learning from Mrs. Kluwin, but form the other students in the online classroom. I have already recommended her class to other homeschooling moms and my children are signed up for her class next year. I highly recommend her as an instructor and IEW as a great curriculum.”

“Mrs. Kluwin, who is kind, smart and encouraging, is never afraid to give constructive criticism. In the second semester there was a point when I was not understanding the new unit, so she helped me find a way to slow down and recuperate. Since then, I have averaged A papers. She has a very unique teaching style. She lets us move at our own pace, accommodating each student’s needs. I have been in Mrs. Kluwin’s class for 2 years and before being with her, I hated writing. Now I find it enjoyable. I am a confident writer with Mrs. K as my teacher because she gives us careful guidance. Mrs. Kluwin is an uplifting, smart writing teacher. Confidently, I can highly recommend her.”

Powerful Weapon

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." "Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that the son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine, that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation. It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given, that separates one person from another.”
